The Skipbait is a 180mm 90-100gram Sinking Stickbait.
It’s been designed to excel between Heavy and Medium tackle setups (50-80lbs+)
Rigging The Skipbait: This lure will happily take a treble and/or a single hook, it’s your choice. For a size chart, we recommend 4/0 BKK’s
The lure is weighted heavily at the back quarter section, allowing for an extremely far casting lure. It’s designed to cast far and be worked with a high rod tip in a walk the dog action or simply straight retrieved to skip and dive like a fleeing ballyhoo, flyingfish, garfish or any other long bodied baitfish.
It has a fast sinking speed that flutters on the way down, often getting hit on the drop or drawing fish in on it that eat it as soon as you start retrieving. This is perfect for when big fish are feeding at the bottom of baitballs.
